National Seminar on ‘Synergy for Raising Financial Literacy and Inclusion’

Financial Services Authority’s (OJK) Financial Literacy and Inclusion Department (DLIK) will hold a national seminar on the theme of ‘Synergy for Raising Financial Literacy and Inclusion’ at Chandra Room, Kebon Sirih Building, Bank Indonesia Office Complex, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday (Oct. 4).

The seminar will discuss guidelines on raising (financial) literacy and regulations related to financial inclusion, share experiences about Bank Indonesia’s roles in promoting inclusion and education on digital finance, and talk about what the financial services industry has achieved in their efforts for raising Indonesia’s financial literacy and inclusion, and plans for the future.

The seminar will present speakers from the OJK, including Department Head of Literacy and Finance Sondang Martha Samosir, Caretaker Director of Education and Consumer Protection Policy and Regulation Research Rela Ginting, Director of Financial  Literacy and Education Horas V.M. Tarihoran, and Director of Financial Inclusion Development Eko Ariantoro.

In addition, Bank Indonesia Director of Retail Payment System and Financial Inclusion Development Group Pungky P. Wibowo, Bank Rakyat Indonesia representative Sony Harsono, Indonesia Stock Exchange representative Nicky Hogan and BRI Life representative Ansar Arifin, will also attend this seminar.
