INAUGURATION OF OJK NEW OFFICIALS FOR SUPERVISION AND ORGANIZATIONAL TRANSFORMATION STRENGTHENING

 

Jakarta, 6 January 2026. Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of Indonesia Financial Services Authority (OJK) Mahendra Siregar affirmed OJK's commitment to continuous organizational transform to nurture integrity and professionalism in maintaining financial services sector stability amid the growingly complex and dynamic global challenges. This commitment was reiterated during the Inauguration, Oath-Taking, and Position Handover Ceremony of Deputy Commissioner, Head of Departments, and Head of OJK Regional Offices in Jakarta, Monday (5/1).

Mahendra conveyed that organizational transformation is a strategic agenda that requires consistency and discipline for OJK to respond well to global setting changes, technology development, and the rising expectations to the financial services sector.

“Organizational transformation should serve as a momentum to strengthen integrity, increase professionalism, affirm commitment, and maintain the financial services sector and the national economy," Mahendra said.

Mahendra highlights OJK transformation that goes beyond readjusting the organizational structures and regulations, transforming the mindset, work culture, and procedures in providing services to the financial services industry and the public. Therefore, collaboration, synergism, openness and competency and performance enhancement of all OJK employees become essential.

The officials inauguration demonstrates OJK's organizational structure strengthening, following up the mandate of Law Number 4 of 2023 on the Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector (P2SK Law) and answering the ever-developing stakeholders' expectations and necessities.

Additionally, the inauguration of Head of OJK Regional Offices strived to solidify OJK's leadership and presence in the regions, providing human resources with leadership quality, networking skills, and deep comprehension of work region characteristics.

The newly appointed and inaugurated OJK officials are:

  1. Deden Firman H. as Deputy Commissioner for Regulation, Licensing, and Regulatory Quality Assurance;
  2. Defri Andri as Deputy Commissioner for the Supervision of State-Owned, Sharia, and Regional Banks;
  3. Indarto Budiwitono as Deputy Commissioner for the Supervision of Financial Conglomerates and Private Banks;
  4. Eddy Manindo Harahap as Deputy Commissioner for Licensing and Supervision of Capital Market Investment Management and Securities Institutions;
  5. I. B. Aditya Jayaantara as Deputy Commissioner for the Supervision of Issuers, Securities Transactions, Special Investigations, Financial Derivatives, and the Carbon Exchange;
  6. I Made Bagus Tirthayatra as Head of the Department for Issuer and Public Company Assessment;
  7. Esti Sasanti P. as Head of the Department of Sharia Banking Supervision;
  8. Rendra Zairuddin Idris as Head of the Special Department for Institutional Transformation;
  9. Agus Firmansyah as Head of the Department of Financial Sector Surveillance and Policy;
  10. Ayahandayani K. as Head of the Department for MSME and Sharia Finance Regulation and Development;
  11. Eko Wijaya as Head of the OJK Provincial Office for Bangka Belitung;
  12. Kurnia Tri Puspita as Head of the OJK Office in Tegal, substituting Noviyanto Utomo; and
  13. Yan Jimmy Hendrik S. as Head of the OJK Provincial Office for East Nusa Tenggara, substituting Japarmen Manalu.

Mahendra expressed his hopes to the newly inaugurated officials to responsibly carry out their duties, highly uphold independence, and prioritize the nation's interest over personal and collective interests.

By strengthening organizational structure and expanding its regional presence OJK affirmed its commitment to proactively maintain the financial services sector stability, enhance consumer protection, and foster fair and sustainable national economic growth.
