Opening of the OJK Kampus Merdeka Internship 1st Batch Program in 2024

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendikbudristek RI) has issued Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No. 3 of 2020 concerning National Higher Education Standards. Through this regulation, the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture and Technology issued a general policy for Independent Campus which provides freedom for universities and students to determine learning concepts independently, innovatively, optimally and relevantly, one of which is through the right to study for three semesters outside the study program through internship activities.
OJK supports the Kampus Merdeka Learning Program (MBKM) by organizing an Kampus Merdeka Internship Program within the OJK environment which aims to produce students who are superior, have high skills, are globally competitive and have added value and are ready to enter the world of work in the Financial Services Industry in accordance with dynamic industrial needs. Apart from that, this program also aims to prepare graduates as future leaders of the nation who are superior and have personality.
This program is expected to improve the competency of college graduates, both soft skills and hard skills, so that they are better prepared to enter the world of work and can provide the skills needed by industry, especially in the Financial Services Sector.
The OJK Institute as a work unit tasked as the OJK liaison officer (LO) has the function of serving the academic community and has been organizing the Independent Campus Internship Program via the Ministry of Education and Technology Platform route since 2022, opening up Independent Campus Internship opportunities via the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture's platform route and the independent route. This year the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture's Platform pathway has entered its 4th batch and the independent pathway has entered its 2nd batch with details of the number of registrations as follows:

- Interview selection for MBKM participants from the Ministry of Education and Culture and Research and Technology was held on 21 - 22 December 2023 for 96 (ninety six) prospective participants/candidates and there were a total of 30 (thirty) prospective participants/candidates who were declared to have passed and were accepted as OJK Independent Campus Internship participants.
- Interview selection for MBKM Mandiri participants was held on 1 – 12 February 2024 for 221 (two hundred and twenty one) prospective participants/candidates and there were a total of 73 (seventy three) prospective participants/candidates who were declared to have passed and were accepted as Campus Internship participants Merdeka Mandiri OJK.
The implementation period for the OJK Independent Campus Internship Program Batch 1 of 2024 will be held for 4.5 months and will start from 16 February 2024 to 30 June 2024 with a total of 103 participants who will be placed in 29 work units at OJK with the following details:
a) 85 people in 23 Head Office Work Units
b) 18 people in 6 OJK offices
