In March 2024, the number of capital market investors reached 12.63 million (18.79% yoy), indicating investors’ confidence and strong public interest.

This optimism fueled solid capital raising in March, reaching IDR48.04 trillion with 78 new equity issuers. The composite stock index (IDX) and the composite bond index (ICBI) marked YTD growth of 0.22% and 1.14%, respectively. Non-residents posted an inflow in Equity of IDR26.28 trillion (YTD) while posting an outflow of IDR31.35 trillion (YTD) in government bonds.

Further, the Net Asset Value of mutual funds dipped slightly by 2.54% YTD to IDR488.73 trillion.

From the Carbon Exchange front, since its launch on 26 September 2023, the Exchange recorded 53 licensed service users with a total transaction of 571,956 tCO2e by volume and IDR35.30 billion by value.
